Mission Statement: The Health Ministry of St. Basil the Great Catholic Church inspired by the love of Jesus Christ, guided by the Holy Spirit and nurtured by the Holy Eucharist are called to promotes healing, wellness and disease prevention of body, mind and spirit by providing information and resources to the faith community of St. Basil. 

Purpose: The Health Ministry focuses on the intentional care of the spirit by integrating Faith and Healing, providing compassionate support, and encouraging healing prayer all the while promoting health and preventing illness through:
• Health Education 
• Health Counseling 
• Referrals 
• Health Advocation 
• Coordinating volunteers

Scope of Practice: Health and wellness programs of the parish health ministry are primarily pastoral. Clinical and invasive medical procedures are not practiced. The Health Ministry provides support and sponsorship of any non-promotional health presentations dealing with physical, emotional, social, or the spiritual aspects of health and wellness.

* Blood drive
