The Marriage Preparation Ministry assists couples who wish to be married in St. Basil Catholic Church. 
 We work with couples over a six (6) month period preceding the marriage. During this period, we complete all necessary paperwork required to comply with the Diocese of Sacramento's requirements.  

Couples must also attend specific diocesan-approved marriage preparation programs. The couple is expected to assist in planning the ceremony with the aid of the Wedding Coordinator, and a rehearsal is scheduled and facilitated by the coordinator.

On the day of the wedding, the Wedding Coordinators prepare the Church for the ceremony and assist to ensure the ceremony proceeds as planned.
